Our Story
Nearly two decades ago, the people of Good Shepherd envisioned a future in which we would grow in our service to God and to our neighbors. We dreamed of a larger church building where our neighbors would join us in praising God, where we would be built up through God’s Word for service in God’s world.
We realized part of that dream in 2008, when Good Shepherd moved to its current location. Our beautiful facility has enabled us to touch lives in new ways while providing a fitting space for worship, education, fellowship, and our preschool ministry. We have welcomed our friends and neighbors by hosting concerts, recitals, community events, AA groups; by offering a robust VBS program; and much more.
We have served the broader community: packing food for Stop Hunger Now; providing meals for the Hypothermia program; gathering winter coats, nonperishable food, diapers, school supplies, and more for neighbors in need.
Extraordinary possibilities are always before us. We believe that God is calling us to greater fruitfulness. We want to continue to dream.
