In the thirteenth chapter of the New Testament letter to the Hebrews, we read “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.” We may or may not have angels among us on any given Sunday, but the people of Good Shepherd certainly hope that you will find a hospitable welcome when you come.
We are honored when visitors and guests are among us. All who are part of today’s congregation were once non-members, inquirers, visitors or, dare we say it, “church shoppers.”
Everyone is always welcome at our worship services. Our Lord is a welcoming Savior, so we seek to make Good Shepherd an always welcoming community of people. We hope you will give us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and to share the ways in which being part of Good Shepherd’s congregation has helped to shape us as followers and disciples of Jesus Christ.
