Anne Lee
Organist/Director of Choirs
Anne Lee has been the Director of Choirs and Organist at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Herndon, Virginia, since January 2023. Prior to her service at Good Shepherd, Anne served as the Director of Music and Organist at a church in Silver Spring in Maryland and recently at Sydenstricker United Methodist Church in Springfield, Virginia, for many years. As a graduate of Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, with a Master of Music degree in Organ Performance, she previously served as an organist at Yonsei University and Somang Presbyterian Church. She held several solo concerts and many ensemble performances with distinguished pipe organs and musicians. Her journey with choral music began at the tender age of 5 when she joined the church choir and school chorus. She dedicated herself to both roles, serving as a choir member and piano/organ accompanist until her senior year in college. Her passion for conducting led her to study with a renowned professor at the college. Her music career started when she was just 12 years old, and she has never stopped performing since then. She has assisted world-class musicians with their pipe organ concerts and also assisted with master classes in Korea. She served at another university as instructor of organ music in the music department. Anne’s passion remains performing, conducting, and teaching music.
