COVID-19 Guidelines - Revised

After much discussion about our church COVID-19 policy at our October monthly meeting, the Board of Servant Leaders has decided to change our COVID-19 Guidelines.

Effective October 31, 2021, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (GSLC) will follow Fairfax County COVID-19 Guidance for Individuals. These will apply to all employees, members, and visitors participating in indoor activities including worship, Christian education, youth activities, meetings, and office work. The current guidelines recommend masks for everyone, regardless of vaccination status. There will continue to be no separate seating areas in the sanctuary based upon the vaccination status of worshippers.

Although not mandatory, the guidelines also recommend physical distancing (6 feet), frequent handwashing, and staying home when ill.
