Consume or Commune?

We often focus on short term gains - the flashy and newest items to satisfy our consumer needs and desires. Instead we should focus on our deeper needs - to consume the lasting and unchanging Word of God, the bread of life. His love is infinite in nature and in Him, with whom we commune, there is richness and food that endures and does not get used up.
