Kingly Judgment and Love

Posted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on

On Christ the King Sunday, we consider the Second Coming of Jesus. The story of the separation of the sheep and the goats holds a number of important truths, boiled down to this: God’s people, the sheep of His flock, are known by the love that flows out of faith in Christ; the goats, by their lack of love. Our hymns and songs – “There Is a King,” “Crown Him with Many Crowns,” “Rejoice, for Christ Is King” – emphasize that Christ is indeed king of all. Join us!
