When Jesus told the Parable of the Tenants, the Pharisees became angry because it pointed out where they had gone wrong. But we know that the parable is about us, too. We should remember that we are tending God’s vineyard and are called to be faithful workers for Him. Our hymns and songs remind us that Christ is our cornerstone, God’s Word is our foundation, and we are new wine, thanks to God’s work in our lives.
