Repentance: More Than Saying You're Sorry

Posted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on

Repentance is more than saying you’re sorry, as Pastor James reminds us in today’s message. It means turning from our sinful ways, obeying God’s urgings and commands. As Christ followers, we share the good news of God’s saving grace, our hearts filled with a joyful response to God’s forgiveness and love. Because of this good news, we can sing, with our Praise Band, “It Is Well with My Soul.” We lift up the hymn “Crown Him with Many Crowns” as we recognize that Jesus reigns supreme.
