The Two Sides of Hospitality

Posted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on

Welcome to this virtual worship service. In “The Two Sides of Hospitality,” Pastor Johann asks us to consider that hospitality is received as well as given—and that we might also experience hostility instead of hospitality as we carry God’s message to the people around us. But we are reminded that as we care for our neighbors, we see the face of Christ in them, and when others show us hospitality, they are seeing the face of Christ in us as well. Hymns include the stirring "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and "Amazing Grace." The choral anthem as well as the Reflective Response is John Rutter's ethereal "The Lord Bless You and Keep You." The Praise Band sends us "running out" from the service with "Forever Reign."

Before you begin watching the service, you may want to open the bulletin so you can follow along.
