Serve

Posted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on October 20, 2024

In today’s gospel reading, James and John think greatness comes from status and power. In response Jesus points out that, there is no escaping service. Join Pastor James as he examines ways that we as Christians can demonstrate our willingness to serve, no matter what the task. We are encouraged to listen to what Jesus told James and John, look towards our friends, family, and neighbors in need, and show Jesus’ love in our words, our hearts, and our service. Jesus' words told us how to serve. Serving one another is what Jesus was trying to show us as he traveled His way to the cross.
