Status Quo or True Peace?

Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, commemorated as Palm Sunday, revealed Him as a humble, saving king rather than the conquering king the people expected. Riding on a colt, a symbol of peace and humility, He embodied a mission of salvation and hope, contrasting the worldly displays of power typically associated with kings. His arrival emphasized God's care for all people, offering redemption and eternal salvation to those who place their trust in Him. Unlike rulers driven by fear and false peace, Jesus's way of peace invites faith and devotion, challenging status quo beliefs and demonstrating true, lasting peace through trust in Him. His compassionate guidance and sacrifice reflect His unique kingship, one rooted in love and service. As we remember His journey during Holy Week, we are reminded of His promise of rest, hope, and peace for all.
