The Babe Emmanuel - Part 2

Posted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on December 21, 2025

Join us this Sunday as Pastor Johann continues his three-part sermon series on God’s choice to send a baby, not a sage, revealing His heart through innocence and purity. Emmanuel—the Alpha and Omega wrapped in swaddling clothes—embodies peace, humility, and the dawn of new life. In the sleeping child, we glimpse heaven’s serenity, hope, and perfect contentment. The Lord encourages us to be in fellowship with each other as He came to be in fellowship with us: the communion of the saints. More than a babe in a manger, He is the Prince of Peace who carries us through trials into everlasting joy.
