The King on a Cross

Join Pastor James as he explores Christ’s kingship by contrasting worldly images of royalty with Jesus’ humility and sacrificial love. Unlike earthly kings adorned in splendor and celebrated by crowds, Jesus is a king who rules even from the cross, having come not to establish an earthly empire but to seek and save the lost, offering forgiveness and grace, even in the final moments of life. Jesus’ kingship spans all time and space, inviting believers to respond by allowing him to rule in their hearts and lives. And as the church year ends and Advent approaches, Pastor James challenges us to consider if Christ is truly our King in how we live and serve, stewarding God’s gifts because of His love for us.
