Total Commitment

Jesus' unwavering determination to face suffering and death in Jerusalem reveals his total commitment to saving us, driven purely by God's undeserved love. Throughout his ministry, Jesus called people to follow him with complete dedication, yet many—like those in the Gospel account—showed half-hearted or conditional commitment. These examples challenge us to reflect on the cracks in our own faith and the distractions that pull our hearts from him. Yet, even in our weakness, Jesus remains steadfast, always calling us back to him with open arms and offering forgiveness. His total commitment to us inspires and empowers our renewed commitment to him, not as a burden, but as a response to his unending grace.
