What Now?

Posted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on December 28, 2025

Christmas is over. The rush has faded, the noise has quieted, and for the first time in weeks, we can finally breathe. But once the relief settles in, a new question lingers: What now? Pastor James takes us into that post‑Christmas uncertainty by looking at Mary and Joseph—whose real challenges began after Jesus was born. Just like them, we face confusion, disruption, and the enemy’s attempts to pull us off God’s path. But the victory Jesus won over sin and Satan isn’t seasonal. It’s steady, strong, and ours every day of the year. As we step into a new year, Pastor James reminds us that—like Joseph—we’re called to respond to God’s grace with faith and obedience, confident that Satan keeps losing and God’s promises keep holding. In that truth, we find hope, direction, and purpose long after the holiday lights go out.
