Whose Are You

After being baptized, Jesus was led into the wilderness where he fasted for forty days and faced three powerful temptations from Satan—to turn stones into bread, to throw himself from the temple, and to worship Satan in exchange for all the world's kingdoms. In each temptation, Jesus refused to give in, responding with Scripture and unwavering faith in God's word, demonstrating that spiritual strength comes from obedience rather than satisfying earthly desires. Despite Satan's relentless attacks designed to exploit Jesus's hunger and vulnerability, Jesus remained steadfast because he knew his true identity and purpose as God's Son. Through his victory in the wilderness, Jesus proved that even in moments of extreme weakness and testing, complete trust in God's promises ensures triumph over temptation.
