ABOUT THE RETREAT

Join the women of Good Shepherd for our annual retreat November 13 through 15 in lovely Winchester, Virginia. Our accommodations are at the George Washington Hotel, located in the heart of the city and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and historic sites.

The retreat begins Friday evening with a causal get together and opening devotion. On Saturday we will enjoy a buffet breakfast and have our first session from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Enjoy lunch and the afternoon on your own.  We will reconvene at 5:00 p.m. for our evening study and a group dinner. Free time after dinner includes games and fellowship time.

 Sunday morning, we share a buffet breakfast and have our final session from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a worship service and farewell.

 Cost for the weekend including 2 breakfasts and one dinner are as follows: Single ($480), Double ($280), or Triple ($215).

Note: An extra night's stay is $129 plus tax.

THE BIBLE STUDY

When worry, fear, and anxiety rise, it can feel as though God is absent. Scripture doesn't deny those experiences. God remains our anchor. An anchor doesn't stop the waves—it keeps the ship from drifting away. Hebrews 6 reminds us that our hope is anchored in God's unchanging character and His faithfulness, even when our emotions rise and fall. Join us as we explore this theme for our weekend retreat in lovely Winchester, VA.
