Midweek Recharge: Prayers during the Pandemic, Part 2
Sep 02, 2020
Detail
This Midweek Recharge is Part 2 of a series of prayers and blessings during the pandemic. Pastor Johann will offer Part 3 later, if requested. These prayers and blessings can be offered to the Lord on a particularly challenging day, as a part of your devotional walk, or as you gather with your LifeGroup, Bible study, prayer group, or cluster. They can also be broken up; one or two prayers can be used in one sitting or gathering. Prayers Part 1 was released on August 19.
Following the payers and blessings, listen to the Good Shepherd Sanctuary Choir sing “In Paradisum” (from Fauré, Requiem).

Here are the lyrics to "In Paradisum" and their translation:
In paradisum deducant angeli,
in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres
et perducant te in civitatem sanctam, Jerusalem.
Chorus angelorum te suscipiat
et cum Lazaro quondam paupere
aeternam habeas requiem.
May the angels and the martyrs receive you in Paradise
and bring you to the holy city, Jerusalem.
May a chorus of angels receive you,
and with Lazarus, once a beggar,
may you have eternal rest.
