Prayer Leader
Lead the congregation in the Prayer of the Church
We believe that we are called to actively share the Good News of Jesus Christ through word and deed.
One way we share is by serving one another and our neighbors in our community and throughout the world.
We know that love of God and love of neighbor are inseparable. We respond to God’s love for us by helping one another in countless ways, from helping out at the food pantry to working behind the scenes to ensure that Sunday worship (virtual or in-person) runs smoothly. By serving and honoring others, we serve and honor God.
We hope you’ll join us in being God’s hands and feet in the world.

When we begin to resume more in-person worship, fellowship, meetings, and other gatherings, our opportunities for service within the Good Shepherd community will increase. You'll be able to find places to volunteer by searching below and clicking on the "Categories" box to hep you sort through service options.
For most of our volunteer positions, no special skills are needed. But if special skills are needed, we'll train you.
No worries. Just let your team leader or ministry head know about the mismatch, and we'll help you find another way to serve.

Looking for a way to help the community? Try volunteering for the pantry! Volunteers are needed for pantry collections and drivers needed to transport packed bags to South Lakes High School. South Lakes High School Food Pantry is operating out of our Fellowship Hall. Food is delivered to various schools in partnership with school principals to distribute to families.
