An Invitation to Quietness

Posted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on July 18, 2024

Rest, a word we hear often, but overlook its importance. Rest is an important element to our spiritual lives and a vital way to recharge our physical and emotional batteries. Join us today as Pastor James discusses Jesus’ invitation to rest, to quietness, and invitation that should be a vital part of our journey with Christ-filled lives. By slowing down, we find Him in the quietness as we listen to God. If we want our relationship with God to grow and develop, we must learn to listen in times of quiet, a place of prayer to replenish the spirit, knowing that He loves you, and living your faith knowing the great gift of love God has given us in Jesus Christ, His Son and our Savior.
